Thermal and Inductance Simulations for Laminated Busbars

This webinar will show how thermal and inductance simulations on busbars and capacitor- busbar assemblies can help in optimization of overall system design to achieve the best performing and cost-effective solution. Both thermal and inductance simulations will be presented during the webinar.

The webinar is beneficial for mechanical and electrical engineers involved in developing power systems and other critical applications like powertrain inverters for HEV/EV, inverter systems for solar and wind power as well as traction inverters and all kinds of power systems where laminated busbars are used.

  • Dominik Pawlik is a Technical Marketing Manager with more than 15 years of experience in Sales, Product Management and Business Development in electrical industrial markets. He holds an MSc Eng, in Electrical Engineering and for the past three years has been employed at Rogers Corporation.
     
  • Pablo Paz Sagüés is a Development Engineer at Rogers Corporation’s Power Electronics Solutions. He is an electrical engineer and earned a master’s degree in electricity production in renewable energy systems. He has worked more than 7 years in power electronics and electric systems, mainly on the wind energy sector. Since he joined Rogers in 2016, he has specialized in electromagnetic FEM simulations and inductance optimization.
