Recognizing face expression, gender, age & more with Human Vision Components

Today we are entering an era in which machines adapt their behaviour to humans, rather than the other way around. In this webinar you will learn about Omron’s latest Human Vision Components (HVC) which feature OKAO, a software with different sensing technologies related to human recognition.

Omron’s HVC-P2 is an image-sensing unit incorporating OKAO Vision technology for recognizing human face expression, gender, age, gaze and blink into a camera module. The image sensing technology is built on data from more than a million faces. The HVC-P2 makes it possible to detect a human body four times per second, keeping track of a person within a detection area.

HVC-P2 modules are suitable for vending and ticketing machines, retail outlets, digital signage and more. They enable collection and analysis of customer data, such as age, gender, expression and even level of interest in a particular product, so that marketing can be more accurately targeted.
